It is a worthy thing to fight for one’s freedom; it is another sight finer to fight for another man’s.
-Mark Twain
I took this quote from another blog. I had never seen it before but it is moving. I would recommend you visit American Citizen Soldier and view the videos he has created in Iraq. A little different than you would imagine or what the MSM shows you. This one made me smile and be thankful for some of our heroes.

I am not glorifying war here, but I am glorifying freedom. Some, on the other hand, believe in killing with kindness (as my father puts it) and the effects are even worse. Click here to read how our efforts on the reserves using socialism are paying off. Makes you wonder what you should be protesting.

It always amazes me that so many people fail to see the heroism being shown by the troops. They fail to see anything worthwhile in fighting for the "freedom" of others. They fail to see the difference between a WalMart on the corner, instead of a Interior Ministry that tortures and kills its own people. They fail to see the millions of people literally hoping for liberation by our men and women.
Oh sure, there are many shortcomings, inconsistancies, and errors made by those who step forward... but since when did heroic deeds occur without the accompanying risk of error. It's easy to criticize people of action, especially from the cozy comfort of a spoiled drunk-on-freedom western mindset.
I agree. I would like to believe it is because of spin from the MSM that they don't realize the atrocities being committed before we got involved. Considering the hatred from the terrorist groups for our spoiled drunk-on-freedom way of life, if we aren't careful and we don't wake up, we may not have a choice anymore. It truly scares me.
