It is with great relief that a new poll shows only 1 out of 5 Canadians (or 18%) are nuts. 4 out of 5 Canadians agree with Prime Minister Harper's stance on the Israeli/Hezbollah conflict. This poll must have been taken outside the prison walls. I believe some of those 18% have been misled by the media and have been too busy to truly investigate and understand what has happened.
Further on in the poll, there seemed to be misunderstandings about who started the war. Again, I blame this on the mainstream media. Hezbollah, a terrorist organization, was bombing Israel and crossed the Israeli borders and killed Israeli soldiers. Israel is merely defending itself.
82% agree with Prime Minister Stephen Harper's stand and I am extremely relieved that my fellow countrymen are not Nuts. That is, if I can believe the polls anymore.
Suffice it to say, I am extremely proud of our prime minister! It is so heartening to have a voice of reason in our government for a change!

I wonder what results would be obtained if the question re Israel was prefaced with; "Considering Hezbolla crossed an International border and killed seven Israeli soldiers, kidnapped two more, and had been, and has been, bombing Israel, do you think Israel has a right to defend itself. I agree with you; why is there such a difference in results of poles. And why are people not aware of the sequence of events. I would like a print-out of events over the last five years, and an hour by hour printout of all events for the week before and of the day Israel entered Lebanon.
On second thought, it may not make any difference. Iv'e noticed more and more that in sports, the retalliation is penalized (I guess it is most likely to be observed), not the instigator. On the other hand many people believe 7/11 was justified by virtue of the U.S.A foreign policy. It would seem there is little consistancy out there. But having a factual documentation of real events by the MSNM would certainly help.
P.S. And I think you're really smart!!!!Haha
Thanks for the PS.. although it may be somewhat biased? I think you're smart too...LOL.
I've been thinking about writing a post at the inconsistency out there. For example, gays would be tortured and murdered by the Islamic Fascists yet the left believes that Bush is more evil than the taliban. I guess death is more acceptable than the inability to marry? America locks up prisoners in Guantanamo Bay and terrorists behead prisoners but America is evil. Although I agree that we should not behave like the enemy, lets at least realize who the real enemy is.

Al, you are in idiot!!! Maybe from a business standpoint 7/11 is justified (as are many other American food companies causing obesity around the world). From an ethical point of view, I don't think easy access to nutrient deficient snacks like sugar-loaded slurpees and fat-laden doritos is right.
Oh... uh, did I misunderstand something? Hmmm. Either way, I stand by my point.
You mean "on your point"?
Hmmmm... seems like Mich might be a troll. Anyone that thinks there is something wrong with shopping at 7-11 is off their rocker. Are you nuts?
I've been called worse. Nuts is actually a compliment in my books. Thanks!
7/11 rapes the body and the pocketbook.
Uh oh, I'd better not get death threats from the 7/11 bigwigs. Ah, I doubt that what peon such as I would say matters anyways...
Michie:
Don't tell me you believe in the 7/11 conspiracy? You are a wacko!
Apparently 4 out of 5 people who believe in conspiracy theories are nuts.
Not sure where I read or heard that, but I'm sure it's true nonetheless. I mean, that makes it true for me if I believe it, right?
Don't feel bad, Mich. For most of us our perception is our reality. Being in the majority is a "ggggoodie".
7/11 is a mafia based Winnipeg retail/convenience chain store.
9/11 conspiracy theory is no worse than Bush foreign policy fantasies (no better, but que sera, sera)
